    Description

Andrew Jackson: Large Size Copper Luster Pitcher. 7 1/2" tall copper luster pitcher of bulbous form with yellow field or background. Black transfer portraits of "General Jackson The Hero of New Orleans" on each side, as well as transfer of fruit below the spout. Wear to each portrait transfer, as shown. Spout and part of the neck broke off in four pieces a long time ago and have been put back in place using four staples. Two spots of repainting on a portion of the neck and in the yellow background. Still, one of the rarest of the Jackson jugs. Given the faults, we are starting the bidding at a most reasonable level.
