    Description

Abraham Lincoln: Large Globe Style Lamp.
Ornate c. 1890's Lincoln globe style lamp. Measures approximately 38" tall, and has been electrified for modern use. The large globe, which is very ornate, pictures George Washington on one side and Abraham Lincoln on the other. The Victorian style base is a woman holding a sword and standing on a globe adorned with an eagle. The glass globe rests securely on a gold finished mount, which is highly decorative and ornate. One can envision this piece being in the parlor of a fine Park Avenue home dating back to Gilded age. An amazing display piece in perfect working order.
