Woodrow Wilson: Highly Desirable Jugate Donation Bank. If you want to be President, it's "gonna cost ya!" In the days of Teddy, Taft and Wilson, political campaigns were largely financed by small contributions from voters. They might join a club and have their membership fee go for campaign expenses. They might give $1 and get a button or graphic receipt. In 1916, Wilson partisans put their money into this collection bank. The top has a celluloid panel measuring 3" x 2". Portraits of Wilson and Marshall are surrounded by the words: "Our Country Our Flag Our President Help Re-Elect Woodrow Wilson". The bank has a serial number so that managers could keep track of the volunteers and what they collected. When filled, the banks were returned to party headquarters and replaced. This one measures 1 ¾" tall and is chrome-plated. It is an "Ideal Gem Bank" manufactured by the Stronghart Company of Chicago. We don't have the key to open it, but it appears empty. It is in great shape and one of the more desirable Wilson items.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
