    Description

Woman's Suffrage: Massachusetts Die-Cut Tin Blue Bird. One of the essential centerpieces for most major suffrage collections. This lithographed tin bird tin is 12" tall and was issued by the Massachusetts Woman Suffrage Association during the drive in 1915 to secure for women the right to vote in Massachusetts - a drive that failed due to the strength of the organized opposition. Some creases to the beak, black "perch" and one tail feather, along with scattered raised dots. Nice condition overall with strong colors.
From the Collection of David and Janice Frent
