    Description

Woman's Suffrage: Massachusetts Die-Cut Tin Blue Bird. One of the essential center pieces to most major suffrage collections is this tin bird, measuring approximately 12" tall, that was issued by the Massachusetts Woman Suffrage Association. It was used during the drive in 1915 to secure for women the right to vote in Massachusetts, a drive that failed due to the strength of the organized opposition. The bird is in very good condition, with a few very minor bends mentioned for the sake of accuracy only. This piece is in as good an overall condition as we have ever seen. Just a wonderfully attractive item and a great addition to any collection, even that of the non-suffrage collector.
