    Description

McKinley & Roosevelt: Rare Variety OF The Classic Full Dinner Pail Tin Campaign Lantern. A perennial collector favorite, but don't confuse this style with the more commonly found pierced lanterns. This piece has a completely different design. Each side has red transparencies that when illuminated read "4 Years More Of The Full Dinner Pail" and "McKinley And Roosevelt". The transparencies are in remarkable condition, with one having only a minor split. The lantern is complete with the original handle and top, albeit we have not tried to remove it. There is light surface rust, that is common with these lanterns. Overall a fine example of a very difficult lantern to source.
