    Franklin D. Roosevelt: 1933 Inauguration Crystal Goblet by Vernay. 6 1/4" acid-etched crystal goblet. It has numerous designs and inscriptions related to FDR and his accomplishments. His portrait is under an eagle dated 1933 with crossed flags below labeled "Fiat". A displayed "Presidential Seal" eagle appears opposite titled "The New Deal" while two birds nestled in a grapevine appear as well, inscribed "Repeal of the 18th Amendment Dec. 7th 1933." The top lip reads: "Franklin D. Roosevelt President of the United States of America Inaugurated March 4, 1933". The bottom stem reads: "Asst. Sec. of Navy 1913-1920 Gov. of New York State 1929-1933". The bottom of the base reads: "Vernay Presidential Glass 98 Made in England". Excellent condition and quite scarce.
