    Description

Collection of Three Lincoln Busts & One Statue. 1.) Plaster one-piece Lincoln bust measures approximately 7.25" wide at its widest point x 4.5" deep x 11" tall. No artist or maker's mark indicated. Felt affixed to bottom of base. Plaster chipping throughout, especially to the mouth, nose, and left eye. Several cracks to the back of the piece are not noticeable from the front, and do not affect the integrity of the bust. 2.) Bronze Lincoln bust mounted on ceramic base measures 5" wide at its widest point x 5" deep x 13" tall. "Abraham Lincoln Modelled from Life by Leonard W. Volk Chicago, 1860 Replica" can be read on the back of the bust. Felt affixed to bottom of base. Largely free of patination. Handsome piece. 3.) Black plaster Lincoln bust on black wood base measures 4.5" wide at its widest point x 5.25" deep x 10.25" tall. "Heilborn (?) 56" signed into the back of the neck along with "© MPI". A few small nicks do not take away from this appealing Lincoln bust. 4.) Small Lincoln Statue measures 5.25" wide x 3" deep x 9" tall. Lincoln figure is copper-colored, while the base around him is darker brown. Felt affixed to the bottom of the base. Lincoln stands affixed to the base with one hand behind his back, and the other clutching a document, possibly the Gettysburg Address or his Second Inaugural. Axe-topped columns frame Lincoln, and an American bald eagle stands behind the embattled president. A few small scratches on the front of the base and general age wear do not detract from the overall appeal of this truly powerful image of Honest Abe.
