    Black and white photographic portrait of Maugham seated, by George Platt Lynes. 1941. Signed by Maugham in the top left corner ("W. Somerset Maugham"); also, there is a clipped signature mounted directly to photograph reading "Yours always / W. S. Maugham." Photograph itself has been mounted to a cardboard backing. Some light creases to top right corner; surface loss to a couple of areas of the photograph, including portions of Maugham's face. Wear and loss to bottom edge of cardboard. Photograph itself measures 9.25 x 7.5 inches. Good. [and:]


    Original black and white photographic portrait of Maugham in profile. Undated, but written on  the reverse is: "Photo taken on his 80th birthday" (that would have been January 25, 1954); but also written on reverse is the date "Aug. 10, 1960." Inscribed by Maugham at the bottom of the photograph ("For Freddie Richards / W. Somerset Maugham"). Slight ripple to paper; shallow crease to lower right corner. 6.25 x 4 inches. Near fine. [and:]
