DescriptionVery Nice Civil War Sixth Plate Tintype Of Armed Federal Infantryman. Very fine quality, perfect condition. Wears nine button regulation frock coat, cartridge box with sling and breast plate, belt with oval US buckle with cap box and bayonet scabbard. Interestingly the bayonet is still in the scabbard so the M1822 musket he holds at his side is clearly a prop. Very nice image in full case, hinge repaired.
From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.
