The letter "A" appears on his kepi. Housed in an embossed paper case with some surface loss. 4) Quarter plate ambrotype of Confederate soldier wearing eagle buttons, silhouetted with background removed, housed in an embossed paper case. 5) Sixth plate tintype of Union private with studio backdrop, 3/4 standing view, clutching his rifle, housed in half of an embossed paper case. 6) Clear ninth plate tintype of seated private clutching his rifle, with U.S. belt buckle, cap box and eagle shoulder belt plate, housed in an embossed paper case. 7) 2" x 3.5" tintype of standing cavalry soldier in studio setting, wearing gauntlets and knee-high boots, holding his saber, hand-colored. 8) 2" x 3.5" tintype of standing cavalry soldier with studio backdrop, wearing gauntlets, holding his saber with crossed swords insignia on his slouch hat.
