    Lot of Five Ninth Plate Images of Civil War Era Soldiers in Thermoplastic Union Cases. Includes: 1) Tinted Ambrotype of a Union Soldier or Militiaman in a Brown "Scroll" Case (Krainik 427). Excellent. 2) Tinted Tintype of a Soldier in a Brown Oval "Fruit and Flowers" Case (Krainik 679). Chip at catch on lid, else excellent condition. 3) Tinted Tintype of a Young Soldier in a "The Church Window" Case (Krainik 396). Excellent condition. 4) Tinted Tintype of a Young Solder in a Brown "The Camp Scene" Case (Krainik 368/ 477 reverse). A few trivial chips along the edge, else excellent. 5) Tinted Tintype of a Union Soldier in a "Mixed Fruit" Case (Krainik 405). Corners with small chips, else excellent condition.
