George Todd: A Tintype Image Believed to be This Important Quantrill Captain. Seated on the left, with unmistakable resemblance to the well-documented image of Todd auctioned by Cowan's in November 2005. The identity of the other man has not been confirmed, but it has been suggested that this may be "Bloody Bill" Anderson. Clearly the two men are closely associated, as their arms are linked. The tintype has scattered loss of emulsion and several very minor shallow bends, but the images are quite clear. 2" x 3.25".

Todd participated in a number of raids and battles, including the Lawrence, Kansas, massacre. He was killed at the second Battle of Independence in 1864.
