    Civil War Tintype of a Young Federal Artilleryman, 2 5/8" X 3 3/4". Wears kepi with gilt tinted crossed cannons, non reg shell jacket with short standup collar and diagonal hash marks on sleeves. Wears saber belt with rectangular plate tinted gilt with percussion revolver tucked in the front. Hand on M1860 cavalry saber suspended from belt. A shade dark, else very fine quality and about perfect condition in full leather case.
