    Civil War Period Collection of Three Soldier Tintypes. Including: (1) 1/9 plate tintype of seated enlisted Union soldier with revolver. The tinted image retains the ornate brass mat, but is sold without case. Slight aging, else very good condition. (2) ¼ plate tintype of standing Union cavalryman. Retains ornate brass mat, but sold without a case. Image is darkened with age, otherwise good condition. (3) 1/6 plate tintype of a seated Union soldier. With the ornate brass mat and glass protector and sold in a partial case (lower portion only). Several horizontal cracks in finish as well as puckering to emulsion, otherwise good condition.
