    Thomas Leonidas Crittenden (1819-1893) was the son of Kentucky Senator John J. Crittenden. While most of his family fought for the Union, his brother George served as a Confederate general. Thomas commanded the 5th Division in the Army of the Ohio and fought at Shiloh, Stone's River, Tullahoma and Chickamauga.

    Condition: Soiling at the right edge and unevenly throughout the rest of the photograph. Top edge is bumped. Light wear to the corners.
