William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody: Large Signed Photograph. 18" x 21.5" studio portrait on the original photographer's mount (signed, in pencil, "Gessford NY"). The photograph itself measures 13.25" x 16.25" and depicts a well-dressed Cody wearing a gold buffalo stickpin, a marksmanship medal and a gold watch fob. He has signed it in the upper right corner "To F. W. Kavanaugh/ From his friend/ W. F. Cody/ "Buffalo Bill". Some light damp stains in the border, of little import (currently covered by a mat). Housed in a period frame, lacking glass. This is the largest signed photo of Cody we have seen and makes a great display piece. Sure to please!
