    Robert E. Lee: Lee on Traveller Postcards and Bonus. Group of five [5] real photo postcards showing Lee astride or next to his trusted war-horse, Traveller. Two are blind-stamped "Plecker & Maury". Two have the paper labels of "A. H. Plecker, Soldiers' Home, Richmond, Va." One is inscribed "Copyright 1906 by A. H. Plecker" in the negative (worn edges). Two examples have creases. Generally in good condition or better. Sold together with an early 20th century lantern slide with the "backdoor" pose of Lee, with labels reading "War For the Union/ M. B. Brady/ National Portrait Gallery/ Washington, D.C."
