Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in Europe at Waterloo Photograph. Original 1891 photograph of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show while touring in Europe, on an excursion to the historic Battlefield at Waterloo Monument. This is an exceedingly rare, 9" x 11.75", sepia-tone image of Buffalo Bill and various members of his Wild West Show, photographed while on the side of the hill leading up to the monument at Waterloo, Belgium, the site of Napoleon's famous defeat. It is dated in the negative and therefore on this image, "Waterloo - 2 June - 1891" at the bottom. A fabulous image including a number of American Indians, with Chiefs, some band members, and others, plus Cody himself, who stands near the center, beneath the huge monument at the top of the hill. This fabulous image is the very first we have handled of this image. In fine condition, with brown spots and stains present in the sky portion of the emulsion, and corners slightly rounded and bent. Overall, a beautiful photograph.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
