DescriptionAnnie Oakley and Friends: Another Spectacular White Studio Photograph. The only known copy, published once before but with the two characters on the right mistakenly labeled as Buffalo Bill and his daughter Arta. Rather they are cast members from Annie's successful play The Western Girl, currently unidentified but most likely the actors playing Nance Barry's father and blind sister. This 7.5" x 9.5" image is in very good condition with a break in the emulsion lower right. Annie is particularly winsome here. This lot is from the collection of Bess Edwards, grand-niece of Annie Oakley, and will be accompanied by a signed letter from her authenticating this item as described. The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.View More Testimonials
As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
