Stereoviews Picturing Rustic Arizona Scenery. Four stereoviews mounted on orange cards, each measuring 7" x 3.25", picturing scenes of rural Arizona dating between 1859 and 1879. Scenes include: A mud-hut newspaper office, a large wagon train delivering supplies to Prescott, Arizona, old buildings in the sparsely populated Tubac, Arizona, and the densely packed, thatched roof homes of Ehrenburg, Arizona. Three stamped on recto "Discriptive [sic] Views of the American Continent / Continent Stereoscopic Company Publishers." Two cards backstamped "Read! Conklin's 'Picturesque Arizona.'" and a third backstamped "D. F. Mitchell, Photographer / Prescott, A. T." Two with ink annotations on verso and some foxing throughout with minor wear to edges of cards. Otherwise, good condition. From the estate collection of E. F. Mueller.
