    Description

    Six Ulysses S. Grant Stereoviews taken during the Civil War, including one scarce original stereoview stamped in the left margin by J. Gurney & Son of New York. All are near 7" x 3.5" and feature the general in uniform. Various backstamps include those of Henry Warren and E. & H. T. Anthony. Two are from the series The Photographic War History. Very clean images save for some soiling, staining, and spotting.
