Warren Court Signed Portrait. 8.25" x 11.13" (image size) matted color photograph. Left to right are Justices William J. Brennan, Potter Stewart, Byron White, Hugo Black, Abe Fortas, William O. Douglas, John M. Harlan, Earl Warren and Tom C. Clark. Signatures of all justices appear in lower margin beneath the photograph. The portrait was taken and signed between 1965 and 1967: Justice Fortas was appointed by President Johnson in 1965 and Justice Clark resigned in 1967 when his son, Ramsey Clark, became acting Attorney General. This is an uncommon photographic representation of one of the most important and controversial courts in American history. Enclosed within a walnut frame, an overall size of 13" x 16.5". Photograph shows some fading and age discoloration, matting with one mark of slight blemish.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
