Rare, Large-Format Circa Early 1880s Photo of Mrs. Jesse James at the Stump of the Infamous Coffee Bean Tree on the James Farm. Evenly faded but quite clear, this photo depicts a pensive, perhaps mournful Zerelda James. Below on the mount is written in pencil: "Mrs. Jesse James at Coffee Bean Tree". There is one vertical crease to the left of her figure, some vertical staining near the right edge, and soiling and staining on the mount, which is missing its lower left-hand corner. Nonetheless, perhaps the most moving and evocative known image of Zee. Published in Carl Breihan's book Saga of Jesse James (Caldwell, ID : Caxton Printers, 1991, page 134). 10" x 8".

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
