    Pair of Cased 1/9th Plate Tintype Portraits of Union Naval Personnel. Includes portraits of an unidentified sailor and junior officer. Both images with scratches to the emulsion otherwise they are in very good condition. One example is housed in a Krainik 419 "Roses and Scrolls" case; the other in a Krainik 476 "Scroll" case. Both cases have small cracks, a few chips and slightly loose hinges; otherwise they are in very good condition.
