    Description

Lot of Three Photographs Featuring Will Rogers and Wiley Post. The photo of Post (10" x 8") shows him standing by his plane, the Winnie Mae, in which he broke the record for flying around the world in 8 days and 15 hours and 51 minutes and became the first man to fly solo around the world. The other two photos are of Will Rogers. One shows Rogers with two civilians and an Italian Air Force officer (8" x 10"). The large photo (14" x 12" overall) shows Rogers, Cliff Henderson, and four other men standing beside an early passenger plane. On a 1935 air trip to Alaska, Post and Rogers were killed in a crash a few miles from Point Barrow. The photo of Rogers and the Italians has some damage at the top. The other Rogers photo has some minor damage to the mat, but no damage to the image. From the collection of Cliff Henderson.

You reach a customer base that is in many ways completely unknown to the major auction houses, and your marketing to this base is as professional as one could hope for. As I continue to wind down my holdings.
