    Edward S. Curtis, Photographer: "Cheyenne Type" Vintage Portfolio Photogravure from The North American Indian. Volume VI, Plate 210. Curtis' caption: "The original of this portrait is Wako'yami ('his horse bobtailed') of the Northern Cheyenne." A fabulous image of an older man wrapped in a blanket, hair in braids. The photo date is 1910 and this original photogravure was produced in Boston by John Andrew & Son. Plate size is approximately 12.5" x 18" on an 18" x 22" Holland Van Gelder sheet.
    Condition: Roughness and burning at edges, overall fine.
