Abraham Lincoln: Large, Early, Funeral Reprint Photos. Ten 11" x 14" silver prints on thick paper. Nine show scenes associated with Lincoln's funeral and one shows the run-down cabin that Lincoln helped build for his father in 1830. We are unfamiliar with some of these views and suspect they may be unpublished or, at least, rarely seen. The interesting aspect of this are the details easily seen here that one totally misses in CDV's and other small format photos. We think these were made in the early 20th century. Included is a photostatic "key" identifying the 100 gentlemen from Chicago who pose in front of Lincoln's Springfield home. These merit greater exposure and publication.
