    Nice Group of Civil War Images, including one tintype and six cartes-de-visites. a number of which are members of the 11th New Jersey vol. Inf. The group includes: tintype in album size mount of young enlisted man wearing four button blouse and forage cap with large 2d Corps badge on top; Vignetted bust portrait of young 2d Lieutenant. Information including ID written on front but faded and difficult to decipher. Backmark of Gill's City Gallery ' Lancaster, Pa.; Very nice portrait of Captain Ira W. Cory, Co. H, 11th New Jersey Vol. Inf. Wears frock coat with shoulder straps, sword belt with sash and M1850 foot officer's sword. Slouch hat with insignia on front. Signed on verso, "Cory / Capt. Co. H / 11th NJV." Corey entered service on 8/13/62 and mustered out 6/6/65. Backmark of Moses / Trenton, N. J.; Nice portrait of Lt. Isaiah L. Richard 1st Mass. Inf. Richard enlisted 7/12/63 and mustered out 5/28/64. Wears frock coat with shoulder straps, holding slouch hat with staff insignia on front. ID written in pencil on verso with backmark of J. W. Black / Boston; Great portrait of Federal officer. Signed on back in bold ink script with what appears to be "Truly Yours / J. H. Smith" Backmark of Whitehurst / Washington. Wears non regulation overcoat with cape, nine button shell jacket opened exposing vest, kepi, knee high boots, sword belt with non reg sword at his side. Very rakish appearance with the look of a tough combat veteran.; Vignetted bust portrait of lt. William H. L(l)oyd and signed on verso. Backmark of C. H. Spieler's / Philadelphia. Wears frock coat with shoulder straps. Loyd entered service 8/18/62 and was discharged 1/13/65; beautiful bright, crisp portrait of an 11th New Jersey Lieutenant, commanding Co. K. Backmark of Wm J. Tait / New York. Superb quality and condition. Wears frock coat with shoulder straps, holding slouch hat at his side. Bright crisp ink signature on verso "Yours Truly (name bright and crisp but difficult to decipher) / 2d Lieut. Comdg / Co. K 11th N. J. Vol." Very nice group of images al excellent quality and condition.
