    Large Photograph Album Devoted to the de Havilland Moth Aircraft. The album measures 14" x 17" and contains original photographs of various early models of the de Havilland Moth and many of the aviators who made their reputations in the Moth. The photos include: Captain Sir Geoffrey and Lady de Havilland, Sir Samuel Hoare, Vicomtess de Sibour, Lady Mary Westenra Bailey, Miss W. E. Spooner, Lady Heath, Amelia Earhart, Air Marshal W. Safton Brancker, Captain W. L. Hope, and others. Besides the variations of the Moth, there are also photos of the D.H.61 with folding wing, D.H.65 Hound with a Napier Lion - Series XI engine, D.H. Hercules Air Liner, and other aircraft. There are close up photos of engines, landing gear, and de Havilland production facilities in Britain, Canada and, Lowell, Massachusetts. A very fine early de Havilland archive of approximately 150 photos. Various sizes.
