    Description

    Joshua Chamberlain Portrait Signed "Joshua L. Chamberlain." 9" x 10.25". The portrait features the hero of Gettysburg in his later years. This image, likely the last made of Chamberlain, was used by his son as the frontispiece of Chamberlain's only book, The Passing of the Armies. The signature is slightly faded and a 1" tear exists in the top margin. Very clean paper. Matted for an overall size of 10" x 12".
