    Description

    Joseph Hooker: Group of Six Photographs including five cartes de visite of "Fighting Joe" in uniform from photographers such as Alexander Gardner and Mathew Brady. Also included is one cabinet card, measuring 4" x 6.25", featuring an oval portrait of Hooker in civilian dress. Below the image is a pencil notation stating that this was his "last picture." With an A. Bogardus backstamp on the verso. Some foxing is evident on one of the CDVs and the mounts are toned in places.
