    Description

    Henry Clay (Three) Cartes de Visite. The first measures 2.4" x 4", and bears an E. Anthony/Brady back mark. A bold image, with light mottling to the albumen; the mount is untrimmed with a few stray foxing marks. The second image is a wet plate albumen, mounted to a 2.4" x 4" card; a chest-up profile view. Corners of the mount are slightly trimmed; with a C.D. Fredericks & Co. back mark. The last image is of Clay and his wife, posed seated. Mount has been heavily trimmed; with pencil notations on the verso and an E. & H.T. Anthony back mark.
