    Confederate Cartes-de-Visite: George Washington Gordon, John Brown Gordon and Richard Brooke Garnett. Three (3) cartes including George Washington Gordon (1836-1911) by Bonde & Miley, Lexington, Virginia; John Brown Gordon (1832-1904) by E & H.T. Anthony, New York; and Richard Brooke Garnett (1817-1863) by Anthony, New York. G. W. Gordon served under Kirby Smith and Felix Zellicoffer. He fought at Chickamauga, Chattanooga, Atlanta and Franklin, where he was wounded and taken prisoner. J. B. Brown organized a company of mountain men known as the "Raccoon Roughs", was wounded at Antietam and served under Robert E. Lee, commanding the Seconds Corps of the Army of Northern Virginia. Garnett, castigated for his retreat at Kernstown, served under Stonewall Jackson, Longstreet and Pickett. He fought at South Mountain, Antietam and Gettysburg.
