Charles Francis Adams Signed Card, Carte de Visite, and Cabinet Photo. Signature, "Charles Francis Adams / 13 April 1874" on a small card, 3.25" x 1.75". With a few stray spots of foxing at top left corner, otherwise near fine. Carte de visite, seated portrait alongside a column; wet plate albumen mounted to a card, 2.5" x 4"; with J.W. Black of Boston back mark. Few small surface scratches, but image remains crisp with sharp contrast. Period identification in pencil on verso, along with small mounting remnants and adhesive residue at very top edge. Together with a cabinet portrait; a chest-up 3/4 profile with a Warren's photostamp on the mount. Multiple pencil notations on the verso from previous dealers and collectors. Light soiling, the mount has a small chip at top left. Overall, an attractive group of items commemorating Adams, son of President John Quincy Adams and grandson of President John Adams.
