    Washington D.C. Cartes de Visite. Collection of seven cartes de visite (circa 1870s) depicting government buildings in Washington D.C., including: Treasury Department, an east view of the Capitol, the White House, the Agricultural Department, the Patent Office, the Smithsonian, and the War Department (with a Brady backstamp). All albumens are clean with excellent contrast and detail. In fine condition, with the exception of the Patent Office CDV that has been score along the mount not affecting the albumen.
