    Union Generals Quincy Adams Gillmore and David M. Gregg: Two Cartes de Visite with Clipped Signatures. Gen. Quincy A. Gillmore is featured in a 2.25" x 4" three-quarter length studio portrait in full uniform from a Mathew Brady photograph. Affixed to an E. & H.T. Anthony mount with pen notation below the image. With a 5" x 2.5" clipped signature, "Q.A. Gillmore / Maj. Genl." Also included is a 2.25" x 4" waist up portrait of the heavily bearded Gen. David M. Gregg, sitting in uniform, from a Mathew Brady photograph. Affixed to a Brady mount with a pen notation on the verso. With a 3.25" x 2.5" inscribed card, "Very Sincerely Yours / D.MM Gregg / Brig & Bvt Major General / US Vols." Both CDVs show some foxing. The Gillmore image has minor damage to the upper left corner; the Gregg image is bent near the upper edge.
