    Union Generals: Four Cartes de Visite. Including: (1) Brigadier General Amos Beebe Eaton (1806-1877), bust portrait, approximately 2.5" x 4", Brady studio mark and tax stamp on the verso. Modest age toning, else a sharp image in very good condition. (2) Brigadier General James Deering Fessenden (1833-1882), in uniform, seated, approximately 2.5" x 4", from a Brady negative, with an E. & H.T. Anthony studio mark on the verso. Trivial scattered spots, else a sharp, bright image in very good condition. Fessenden organized what would become one of the first African-American regiments in the Union army. (3) Brigadier General John White Geary (1819-1873), in uniform wearing his hat, seated, approximately 2.5" x 4", moderate age toning, else very good condition. (4) Brigadier General John White Geary (1819-1873), in uniform with sword, standing, approximately 2.5" x 4", a sharp image in excellent condition. Geary participated in engagements at Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Lookout Mountain, and the Atlanta Campaign, among others.
