    Union Brigadier General James Meech Warner: Two Cartes de Visite, One Signed. Including: (1) CDV of Warner, approximately 2.5" x 4", with a John Goldin & Company, Washington, D.C. studio mark and tax stamp on the verso, signed on the verso: "J. M. Warner / Brig Genl Vols / 6th Army Corps". Modest age toning, rounded corners, else very good condition. (2) CDV of Warner as a colonel, approximately 2.5" x 4", with contemporary information on the recto and verso (not in Warner's hand). Excellent condition. James Warner (1836-1897) was present at the Battle of the Wilderness and was wounded at the Battle of Spotsylvania Courthouse.
