An additional 100 mounted photographic portraits of Abraham Lincoln are featured throughout the book, as are the following: 3 mounted images of Lincoln at Gettysburg; 4 mounted images of Mary Todd Lincoln and sons; 24 mounted photographs of military officers, politicians, and others; and one large photograph of Lincoln's internment. Included bound in the back of the book are two supplements: Supplement One (1917) includes 8 additional images of Lincoln and Supplement Two (1938) contains another eight images. Most images are the size of cartes de visite. We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
