    Robert E. Lee: Rare 1870 Richmond Tour Book with Tipped-in Lee Photograph. Book containing a tipped-in albumen portrait of "R. E. Lee" by Rees, opposite page 134, surrounded by a black mourning border. The 4.25" x 6.25" book is tiled "Walks about Richmond. A Story for Boys, and a Guide to Persons Visiting the City", published by McCarthy & Ellyson of Richmond in 1870. Bound in purple cloth (fading to spine), 174 pages, library bookplate on inside front cover, original owner's name and date of acquisition (May 26, 1873) inscribed on free endpaper. A tight, clean copy.
