    Henry Slocum Signed Carte de Visite. 2.5" x 4", a bust portrait in uniform, with a Washington Gallery, Vicksburg, Mississippi backstamp on verso. Signed below the image: "H.W. Slocum Maj Genl."

    Henry Warner Slocum (1827-1894) was Colonel of the 27th New York Infantry. He fought at First Bull Run (severely wounded), South Mountain, Antietam, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Chickamauga and the March to the Sea.

    Condition: Light uneven toning and foxing. Minor corner bumping. Boldly signed.
