    Group of Three Scarce Civil War Cartes de Visite, including the following: Portrait of Gen. George B. McClellan and his staff. Brady/Anthony backmark; Autographed bust portrait of Brevet Brig. Gen. Henry Greene Davis. Signed on the front as Captain of the 29th Indiana, the regiment in which he began his service. Davis went on to command the 101st Colored Inf. and was brevetted to Brig. Gen. on 3/13/65. Very fine quality image with some toning. Backmark of A. S. Morse, Dept. of the Cumberland, Nashville; Very scarce, unretouched, Brady backmark, portrait of Col. Elmer E. Ellsworth with revenue stamp. Fine very scarce images.
