    Group of Six Civil War Cartes de Visite of Armed Federal Enlisted Men including: Seated infantryman holding saber bayonet up in front of him. Probably New York state wearing bummer's cap and shell jacket with shoulder tabs. Belt with rectangular plate and what appears to be a Pond revolver tucked in at the side; Full-length standing artilleryman. Wears shell jacket, bummer's cap with crossed cannons, regimental number and company letter on the top. Heavy gauntlets and boots. Wears artillery saber belt with artillery held in front of him. Period ink script ID on verso "Willie Allen/Fortress Monroe". Borders trimmed top and bottom; Seated early war cavalryman. Wears non-reg shell jacket with shorter collar and what actually appears to be dark piping. Brass shoulder scales, black buff saber belt with M1860 cavalry saber with knot cradled in his lap. Military backdrop, superb quality; Unusual full standing view of cavalryman. Wears frock coat with shoulder tabs, Hardee hat with plume and crossed sabers on the front. White buff saber belt with rectangular eagle plate with silver wreath and M1860 cavalry saber. Backmark of Morris Moses, No. 13 State St., Trenton, N. J.; Full-length standing infantryman with unusual uniform. Frock coat with lighter colored facings on cuffs and stand up collar, trousers with wide stripe. Bummer's cap, cartridge box with circular plate on sling, belt with oval plate and cap box. Name written in pencil on the verso but difficult to make out; Standing infantryman wearing nine-button frock coat, bummer's cap, holding what appears to be a Bible in front of him. Full set of equipment including bayonet in scabbard and holding Enfield rifled musket with sling at his side. No backmark. Very nice group with several very unusual images.
