Wears frock coat with cloth covered buttons, Nicely signed on verso, also ID written post period on the front; tintype in paper mat of Hospital Steward Waldemar M. Melchert. Wears fatigue blouse with ID badge and signed on the reverse.; Seated view of Lt. Joseph C. Baldwin, killed at Spotsylvania May 12, 1864. Wears frock coat with shoulder straps and signed on the back; great full standing view of Ordnance sergeant Timothy Cummings. Cummings died of disease at Ft. Ellsworth, Va. October 27, 1862. Wears regulation frock coat with sergeant's stripes, NCO sash, sword belt with, inexplicably, a foot officer's sword. Signed on verso.; seated view of hospital Steward Abel S. Tilsworth. Wears fatigue blouse. Slightly trimmed at the bottom and signed on the reverse.; seated view of Hospital Steward Sergeant Lewis S. Owens. Wears shell jacket with sergeant's stripes and trousers with wide NCO stripe. Signed on verso.; bust portrait of Captain Samuel T. Sleeper who was killed at Spotsylvania May 12, 1864. Wears frock coat with shoulder straps and ID badge, signed on verso.; bust portrait of Lt. Alexander Beach. Wears frock coat with shoulder straps. Beach served with the regiment from August 1862 to June 1865. All in fine condition and a very nice grouping with some generically very scarce images.
