    Four Union Cartes de Visite: General Absalom Blaird; Commodore George S. Blake (with clipped signature); General Egbert B. Brown; and Admiral Theodorus Bailey (with clipped signature). In each CDV, the officer featured wears his Union uniform. Three bear the photographers' imprints on the reverse. Minor staining. Commodore Blake's clipped signature reads, "Naval Academy Official Business G. Blake Como. & Sutdt NA." Admiral Bailey's clipped signature reads, "Reported, Key-West July 1, 1863, T. Bailey Actg: Rear-Admiral Comdg: E. G. B. Squadron."
