Confederate Signal Corps Blockade Runner Album: Three Havana CDV's. These portraits all have the back marks of Andres Oca of Havana, Cuba. Havana was a safe port-of-call for Confederate blockade runners and a location where they could transfer cargo to English ships and receive goods in return. The seated gentleman was identified in the album simply as "Campbell Signal Corps Richmond, Texas" (one clipped corner, crease in lower right corner). The hatless standing gentleman is identified on the verso as "N. F. Richardson Signal Corps Portsmouth Va." (likely in his own handwriting). The standing gentleman wearing a pork pie hat is similarly identified on the verso as "James E. Livesay Portsmouth, Va." He is also identified in the album as a "Signal Officer Blockade Ship".

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
