    Civil War Union Cartes-de-visite: Lot of Four Identified Soldiers. Standing studio portrait of distinguished looking officer, signed on the mount "George B. Halstead/ Asst Adjt General". Bold image, no backmark. 2) Tinted standing image of young officer, signed on the verso "Yours truly/ F. Young/ 1st Lt. 6th N.J.V." J. A. Keenan of Philadelphia backmark. 3) Vignette of soldier, signed on the mount "Yours truly/ G. Frank Lord". Kimball of Concord, New Hampshire back mark. Lord served in the 3rd Regiment, New Hampshire Infantry which participated at Fort Wagner and Petersburg during the term of Lord's enlistment. 4) & 5) war-date CDV of "Uncle Billy Watkins" in uniform (H. Manger's of Philadelphia backmark) together with a post-war CDV of Watkins wearing his kepi and G.A.R. (Morris of Philadelphia imprint). Watkins served in Company C 5th Ohio Infantry and was promoted to corporal.

    Condition: Slight soiling to #3 and trimming to the top of the post-war image of Watkins; else, excellent.
