Charles Fredricks of New York back mark, horizontal crease in the middle with emulsion loss at top, as shown. 3) Vignette image of soldier, inscribed on verso "Daniel Whalen/ Clyde/ N.Y." He served in Company H, New York 94th Infantry. J. H. Abbott of Albany back mark, clipped corners. 4) Vignette image of soldier John P. Cole who served in Company H, New York 94th Infantry. He was promoted to 1st Lieutenant at war's end. J. H. Abbott of Albany back mark with revenue stamp. 5) Vignette image of James P. Thomas who served in Company E, New York 105th Infantry. He was captured at Weldon Railroad on August 18, 1864, paroled, and promoted to 1st Lieutenant on March 3, 1864. J. H. Abbott of Albany back mark with revenue stamp.
