    Civil War Union Cartes-de-visite: Identified Soldiers. Vignette image of soldier, inscribed below "Corp. Charles F. Hough/ Co. 'D' 86th N.Y.V. Vols./ Hornellsville, N.Y." Hough was wounded at Po River on May 10, 1864. W. L. Sutton of Hornellsville back mark. 2) Fine standing portrait of "Lieut E. A. Belger/ A. D. C./ Excelsior Brigade". Edward Albert Berger was a career officer who fought at Chancellorsville and Gettysburg, rising to the rank of Major by brevet. Brady credit with clipped corners. 3) Portrait of seated soldier, signed below "Frank Ashcraft Co D 10th/ N Y Arty." Godkin back mark, light soiling with scratch across face. Frank has a Colt revolver tucked inside his belt.
